"akhirnya nemu great mala spot in the GLC area and honestly, this place is so underrated if you’re reading reviews and still hesitating, just go. seriously. they serve mala maocai and mala xiangguo, plus other options like mala fried rice, mala fried noodles, and mala kwetiau and all surprisingly good. for the maocai, i chose level 2, and it wasn’t the kind of numbness that kills your tongue. it was well-balanced, flavorful, and still very enjoyable to sip. you can also request less oil, which is a big plus as you can probably tell, i already stole some of the noodles before taking the photo, i didn’t expect it to be this good. the meal felt really hearty and comforting, the kind of warm food that just hits right oh, and the tea is free and it’s served warm. insane, right? such a simple touch, but it makes the whole experience even better the staff were very friendly, and it’s such a shame the place was quite empty. this restaurant truly deserves way more appreciationNNN!!!"

"Honest review This is the best and very authentic maocai dishes. The food is spicy and tasty level 1 is enough, i dont dare to try level II. I really enjoy the food, and the drink 100% jasmine tea, so fragrance. I highly recommend this restaurant. Hopefully people are curious to try, because this place deserve to get more customers."

"A literal hidden (no flashy lights and a small sign) gem. Ordered their MaoCai with Lvl 1 Spiciness. The Mala is strong but not overpowering. Tastewise its very fragrant and screams authentic chinese cuisine. The highlight is their generous broth portion, extra condiments, and complementary herbal tea (I don't know what's in it, but it smells and tastes good). They also let you take away your extra leftover broth. The place is nice and spacious. The service is also top notch, every staff is warm and welcoming."
